ARIA

A beautiful Champagne Tennessee Walking Horse, Amber in color and hazel eyes, this mare came all the way from Florida to call Reigning Grace Ranch her home in 2009. Aria, also known as the “Hungry Hippo,” (because she is always hungry) is a staple at the ranch. She is my “go to” girl for everything! Trail ride, obstacle course, groundwork, adaptive riding, water wars, life coaching, high energy kid, low energy kid, this girl has the aptitude to do it all. She helps kids and adults alike build confidence in their horse handling skills and who they are. Aria is an old soul with a heart of gold to serve. She is a once in a lifetime horse that because of her willingness and love for her humans, make her a true gem and pillar in the RGR program. Perhaps one of the most endearing things about Aria is her muzzle wiggle and freckles. She can make the saddest of children, burst out into laughter with her bunny like nose wriggle. When Aria first came to the ranch, she wouldn’t cross water. One of our kids said, “well, she’s a smart horse! In Florida, there’s alligators in the water.” I am here to say, Aria has no problem with water anymore.
