Keturah

Keturah

Keturah came to us when we were called into a hoarding situation to remove some of the horses due to neglect. Keturah was only a month old when she came to live at Reigning Grace Ranch. Born just two months after Genesis, the ranch had two babies overnight and was quite the busy, bouncing place. Keturah instantly attached to Shiloh, the queen of our herd. Keturah was a smart cookie. She observed that in the herd, the alpha ate first and the alpha would protect, so it wasn’t long after, that Keturah made the best of friends with Shiloh, who protected her in every way possible. Keturah also helped shape Shiloh. She grounded her and gave her something to watch over and guard. Shiloh began to change for the better because of Keturah. The two together were inseparable. Keturah being a Champagne Tennessee Walking Horse, makes her a rare and beautiful site. With her amber eyes and red mane and tail, she is sassy as the day is long.
