Baba

Baba

Baba is a handsome, black, and white roan Gypsy Vanner that came to the ranch in 2022. His name means father, and he is quite the protector of many in the herd. Baba stands only about 13 hands tall, but he is about as wide as he is tall. Short and thick in stature, Baba has become our “go to” horse we use in adaptive therapeutic riding, particularly with children in wheelchairs. His size makes him perfect for our students to climb onto his back and give our kids wings they didn’t know that had. Baba has a thick mane and tail so overflowing, that you must look hard to see his dark eyes. He is a girl’s dream horse with his flowing, black wavy locks. Baba also has a unique characteristic that brings a smile to all who meet him. He has a large handlebar mustache that makes him the envy of most cowboys! We are pretty blessed to have this character in our herd! He adds a splash of color, personality, and a smile to our paddocks.
