Annie Oakley came to Reigning Grace Ranch with her colt stallion on her side, who we affectionately named Pistol. The two were rescued from slaughter and given another chance of life and hope. Annie Oakley is full of life, spunk and little bit of grit. She is a little diamond in the rough. She has a lot of “try” in her and she is quickly growing in the popularity of the herd at the ranch. We have big hopes for Annie, as she will soon go to training to learn the ways of a therapy horse. She is short in stature and a bit of a thicker mare which will make her perfect as a therapeutic riding horse working with the kids at the ranch with physical disabilities.
