Bam Bam Rubble
Bam Bam was one of our first owner surrenders at Reigning Grace Ranch. Over a decade ago, I received a phone call from a young woman who was actively participating in the Dressage Sport, and she had purchased a paint horse as a foal, raised him and the pair began competing in beginner level dressage. As her skills grew, she began pushing for more and more from her faithful companion. One day, she recognized it wasn’t fair to keep pushing him for her own gain because his body just wasn’t designed to do what she was asking for, for the next level. Before she would break his body down, she wanted to find him a home where he would excel. That was working with kids. Bam Bam, a bay paint gelding, with a very distinct high-pitched whinny, has been one of our staples at the ranch. He is always more than willing to have balls bounced from his head, rings tossed from his back and occasional pool noodles jousted into his body when playing jousting on horseback. He is an extreme steady eddie and loyal horse to both his human and herd mates. Bam Bam is a true diamond and pillar in the RGR program.
