Young Men’s Mentorship Programs at RGR

Our young children today need a strong sense of who they are, what they want to stand for, and what kind of life they want to have. The trouble is this kind of reflection generally falls between the cracks in standard school curricula and traditional character education.  Reigning Grace Ranch is a real-life working ranch, designed to mentor youth, one-on-one, in a safe encouraging place. That’s why our programs are centered around providing a safe place for children and horses to experience hope, encouragement, and healing. If that sounds great to you then we want to share the purpose of our upcoming program for young men.

Modern Day Knight With A Cowboy Twist – Group Session

What does it mean to be a man? If you asked your son or sons, their answers might be a range of; “making lots of money”, “living a life without fear”, “having a good job”, “being famous”, or an overwhelming “I don’t know.”

Our program offers a unique approach to shaping a boy into a strong, Godly man. Based off the customs and ideals of knights and cowboys; your boys will understand the process of clearly defined objectives, goals, honor, courage, grit, and authenticity- with the hope of achieving a new, old standard of manhood. Along the way, they will acquire a boldly masculine vision, an industrious heart, an uncompromising code of conduct, and a noble cause in which to invest their lives.

The goal of this program is to confidently guide our young men to the kind of authentic, biblical manhood that can change our world. The class will integrate the resources of Raising Modern Day Knights by Robert Lewis, and the ten principles of the Cowboy Code. It will be an intensive 8-week session, and at the end of it, our hope is that their answers to; “What does it mean to be a man?” Will sound more like: “To have a heart.” “To have grit and courage.” “To sacrifice for those, we love.” And “To lead with God at the front.”

Activities include horse riding, cattle, archery, ranch hand, building, and much more.

This program is for young men ages 10 and up. The registration for the group session is $30.00 for the 8-week program and the fall program starts Saturday, October 27th from 8 am – 10 am. We would need a minimum of 5 children to begin the class and the max we can have in the program is 16.

To register for the course, please email amandam@azrgr.org to request paperwork and save your space. Don’t delay these courses fill up fast!

We also offer a program for the young woman too. If you’re interested in learning more about The Butterfly Effect, CLICK HERE!

Because our resources are limited at the ranch and we want to give this opportunity to every child interested, a child can only be registered in one activity at a time.  They may take an 8-week session of one on one mentoring and then the following 8 weeks take a group session.  They cannot take more than 3 sessions in the 2018/2019 Fall, Winter, and Spring Sessions.
